Be Thankful for Wild Spaces

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, our thoughts are turned to pumpkin pie, hot cider, roasted turkey, crackling fires, and sitting around the table with family and friends. It is undoubtedly the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year. At The Gorge we are feeling grateful for all of the wild spaces surrounding us. We are so fortunate to be able to call this natural playground home. Our canopy tour course is situated on 125 acres of stunning and expansive views, dramatic ridge lines, old growth trees and many other unique environmental features. Neighboring our property is The Green River Game Lands; over 18,000 acres of state owned land accessible to anyone who choses to take advantage. This land provides opportunities to the public for hiking, fishing, hunting, and other recreational activities. Having this resource next door is extraordinary and it insures that the wilderness context of our course will remain.

If you’re looking for something to do this Thanksgiving that does not consist of racing a million deal-ravenous shoppers, then come be thankful with us for wild spaces! We have opened more trip times the Friday after Thanksgiving to enable folks to come enjoy a canopy tour with their family and friends. You may even go faster after your Thanksgiving dinners have been consumed!

We are filling up quickly so get the family together and get a trip on the books! We cannot wait to see you here!
