“BEEP BEEP BEEP!!” The ever-dreaded, ever-present invasive noise of the alarm shakes you awake. Get up, get ready, and run out the door to another day of sitting at work; white walls, old coffee and the smell of carpet. The most exciting part of your day is your swivel chair. Whether it’s summer, winter, fall, or spring, the solemnness of the office is just as powerful. Now imagine it all being different… What if your alarm woke you up to go play outside all day? What if the hum of fluorescent lights was replaced with the sound of the breeze weaving through the leaves on the trees? What if you had the best job ever?
Zipping ExcitementLet me tell you about what that job would look like. You would wake up and run out the door, (it all starts the same, but just wait…) walk up the pathway and see a beautiful mountain scene expanding for miles. The sounds of music and laughter hit your ears as you walk through the breezeway of the The Gorge where people are eagerly awaiting their zip line adventure. You, as their guide, gather your gear and the gear for your clients and the next thing you know, you’re soaring at 30mph down some of the steepest zip lines in the nation. Sounds more exciting than your swivel chair, right?
